THANK YOU FOR YOUR PEACE

by Bill Kochman

08-02-2022

Thank you Lord for your peace,
Though the storm rages about,
I really have nothing to fear,
Because for me You look out.

Sadly in this modern world,
So many people are afraid.
It is because at Your feet,
No burdens they have laid.

War raises its ugly head,
Hunger strikes many lands,
But I worry for none of it,
I rest calmly in Your hands.

A pandemic has struck many,
Quite often ending in death,
But You’ve kept it from me,
And still I have my breath.

Lord, I simply cannot deny,
How blessed I truly am today,
May others know Your peace,
This, dear Lord, I pray.
