THE DOOR

by Bill Kochman

01-26-2018

Some fine day we’ll pass through the Door,
This life’s aches and pains will be no more.
There are those who say it just cannot be,
But by faith what we’ve hoped for, we shall see.

Then all our troubles will seem so small,
Perhaps we won’t even remember them at all.
In the Light of God’s Kingdom we’ll rest at last,
Everything will be new, and our old lives past.

We will be so thankful, yes, each and every one,
For the great Sacrifice made by God’s own Son.
So keep hanging on, and please don’t despair,
In God’s chosen time, you’ll find yourself there.
