TILL I REACH HEAVEN’S GATE

by Bill Kochman

04-12-2014

The journey of faith can be a lonely walk,
Naysayers will criticize, goats will talk.
Friends may desert me, and family as well,
Demons will taunt from the bowels of hell.

But though I walk alone, I will not fear,
Even in darkness, I know the Lord is near.
At my side, leading each step of the way,
His wings surround me, each and every day.

So with boldness, I press towards the mark,
Following God’s Light, ignoring the dark.
With feet firmly set, my path is straight,
I won’t give up, till I reach Heaven’s Gate.
