TREASURE CHEST

The profound truth of God’s Word,
Runs so deeply within our lives,
But to those who choose to resist,
It strikes hard like deadly knives.
For some it binds up our wounds,
But for others it leaves them dead,
For how God’s Word will affect us,
Depends much on how it was read.
Now if our hearts remain open to it,
Then it is like a great chest of gold,
Filled with such wonderful treasures,
So much knowledge & wisdom untold.
