TWEET IN DEFEAT

by Bill Kochman

12-05-2023

No one ever sees my tweets,
I know Twitter is to blame,
They do not like us peons,
They play an elitist game.

I tweet and tweet all day,
Till my fingers turn so blue,
But it really does not matter,
Because I rarely get a view.

Well, I paid for Twitter Blue,
Thinking now I will be seen,
Yet nothing’s even changed,
Why is Twitter so darn mean?

I don’t think this is really fair,
To pick the cream of the crop,
Inequality here is so rampant,
It is about time for it to stop.

Now if you happen to agree,
Put some action to your feet,
By doing me a single favor,
Give this post a big retweet.
