UNJUST JUSTICE

How can there really be any justice,
When the scales have been tipped?
True is false and right is now wrong,
Everything has been very flipped.

Those things which God despises,
Have become the law of the land,
And rebellion against the Almighty,
Has grown totally out of hand.

Yet still they keep on pressing,
Ever more deeply into their sin,
And thus one can only wonder,
How soon His judgments will begin.

The LORD is indeed very patient,
But soon His patience may expire,
The wicked will be turned into hell,
Yes, they will be cast into the fire.

Now as for us in the meantime,
Truth we must continue to speak,
And although they persecute us,
We remain strong and never weak.

For God’s Word will vindicate us,
Even though all their laws disagree,
For it is His holy precepts alone,
Which will surely stand for eternity.
