WAR DRUMS?

I’m so glad the election is over,
Back to normal things can go,
But yet is everything normal?
It is something I’d like to know.

Now just as occurred in 2016,
Folks are angrily in the street,
They claim an unfair election,
And won’t accept their defeat.

Trump cheated people insist,
Although the opposite is true,
The Dems were really caught,
As the vote they tried to skew.

So Harris’ drones are in tears,
The end of the world is come,
But some want to fight back,
Can you hear their war drum?

They said peaceful transition,
Thus Obama & Harris spoke,
Yet I’m still inclined to wonder,
If violence some will provoke.

Listen to what they’re saying,
They intentionally stoke fear,
Trying to push people to react,
So resist their lies in your ear.

We all know what’s happened,
Since Hillary’s campaign failed,
They have all just complained,
A grudge so long they’ve held.

So with Kamala hitting the dirt,
What should we now expect?
The choice of American voters,
Will they all decide to respect?

If the nation becomes divided,
We will be vulnerable & weak,
America’s enemies will rejoice,
As an advantage they all seek.

The sound in our city streets,
Grows louder with each day,
God please quell their anger,
For this we must hope & pray.
