WHY SO SERIOUS?

Some say my faith is not serious,
Because sometimes I joke around,
But I know some degree of humor,
Helps to soften a harsher sound.
The Gospel can be very difficult,
For a lot of hard people to hear,
They may find it quite offensive,
Thus it goes right out their ear.
But if we preach and yet be funny,
Maybe the truth will light a spark,
Before they even start to realize,
They will begin to leave the dark.
