YEAH, I ALREADY KNOW

by Bill Kochman

01-12-2017

“Oh, yeah, yeah, I already know”,
We have so often heard it said,
Usually it comes from the young,
So lifted up in their own head.

Convinced that they’re so smart,
They refuse to listen to the old,
But it is not a very wise move,
Take heed to what is being told.

That person has lived much more,
God has taught them many things,
So if you want to be smart too,
Listen to what your elder brings.
