DYING GRACE

by Bill Kochman

09-01-2014

We say that we would die for Him,
But is this just a boast in vain?
We’ve become so soft in our faith,
Would we really endure the pain?

Or would we be like Saint Peter,
Who fled when the going got rough,
Now if we are brutally honest,
Perhaps we aren’t really so tough.

God gives His Grace to the dying,
You see, but we aren’t dying yet,
He gives us faith for each hour,
It’s this we should never forget.
