And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:8-14, KJV

Some Christian Judaizers claim that we modern Christians are bound by the same laws as the Jews of the Old Testament period. Thus they try to take from us the liberty that we have in Christ. However, we are not Old Testament Jews. We are New Testament Christians. Furthermore, even during the Old Testament period, the Books of Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers make it very clear that the laws of the Jews only applied to foreigners who sojourned and lived among them at that time in Biblical history.
“One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger THAT SOJOURNETH AMONG YOU.” Exodus 12:49, KJV
“And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger THAT SOJOURNETH AMONG YOU:” Leviticus 16:29, KJV
“Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger THAT SOJOURNETH AMONG YOU:” Leviticus 18:26, KJV
“One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger THAT SOJOURNETH WITH YOU . . . Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger THAT SOJOURNETH AMONG THEM.” Numbers 15:15-16, 29, KJV
“And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.” Jeremiah 2:7, KJV
“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; AND SHOULDEST DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH.” Revelation 11:18, KJV
NOTE: Please note that while I am using Jeremiah 2:7 with this graphic to make a point, in its actual Biblical context, Jeremiah 2:7 is referring to the fact that after God gave the Israelites the land of Canaan, they polluted it with idols of the false gods of the heathen nations around them, and sacrificed their own children to them. We can’t cherry pick the Constitution,
We must all accept the whole solution.
Founders established electoral college,
Because they all had deeper knowledge.
Balance the vote, states big and small,
Else smaller ones wouldn’t count at all.
But some folks today don’t understand,
Thus they protest all across the land.
They say it’s not fair and it’s not right,
And divide the nation with their fight.
But the rule of law we must all respect,
Their misguided notions we must reject.
