JUST A LITTLE NUDGE

by Bill Kochman

08-20-2024

Oh my dear Christian friends,
I am not trying to be a hound,
But it would be so really great,
If I knew you had been around.

Well, it just gets so very lonely,
In my small corner of the net,
So leaving a like or comment,
Lets me know you didn’t forget.

We all need encouragement,
And quite frankly I’m the same,
So when you post a few words,
I at least know that you came.
T
hanks for your consideration,
I am not trying to be a big pest,
But now that I have said this,
To God will just leave the rest.

TRUE REPENTANCE — a poem and song by Bill Kochman

#Poetry #Poem

TRUE REPENTANCE

by Bill Kochman

08-19-2024

Repentance is a change of mind,
And a change of our hearts too,
It is changing what we believe,
But also what we decide to do.

You need to see that being sorry,
Will just never be quite enough,
If minds and hearts don’t change,
God will eventually call our bluff.

Changing from a state of unbelief,
Is what repenting has truly meant,
Forsaking all our ungodly thoughts,
And believing in the one God sent.

Thus if our lives remain the same,
Then our repentance is just fake,
So we won’t get a path to Heaven,
Of this there is simply no mistake.

BLIND NATION

by Bill Kochman

08-19-2024

Well some people still don’t get it,
Regardless of how much I’ve said,
I just strive to tell them the truth,
But they can’t get it in their head.

Putting so much faith in leaders,
Thinking politics will heal our land.
But the actual problem is spiritual,
And it has gotten very out of hand.

We see defiance against the Lord,
It is in every place where we look,
God’s truth is cast to the ground,
They just don’t like His holy Book.

Yet if we forsake our own Creator,
It is certain we will not do so well,
The Bible makes the truth so clear,
The wicked will be turned into hell.

Is that not now what we’re seeing,
As that old Devil has his vile way,
Gross sin all across this country,
If we refuse to repent we will pay.

BOTTOM OF THE BARREL

by Bill Kochman

08-19-2024

At the bottom of the barrel,
That’s where my posts are,
On all the social networks,
They just never go very far.

Yes, shadow banned for life,
Always seems to be my fate,
Those liberals don’t like me,
I just can’t get out the gate.

Even though I post so much,
Friends ask where I’ve been,
But I’ve been here all along,
Just so trapped in their pen.

Maybe you know this story,
Because you’re trapped too,
And though you may protest,
They just won’t let you thru.

Fellow prisoners in our bonds,
We strive to preach the truth,
Our enemies just don’t like it,
They about go thru the roof.

Yet we each do what we can,
Even if we reach only a few,
We have to obey our Father,
As He has ordered us to do.

GOODBYE TO KISSES? — a poem and song by Bill Kochman

GOODBYE TO KISSES?

by Bill Kochman

08-18-2024

So I went food shopping the other day,
Got my stuff and then went up to pay.
Afterwards I thot my total seemed high,
But I didn’t even bother to ask ‘em why.

Now later in the day it bothered me still,
Yet I did not look at that expensive bill.
Then during the night as I lay in my bed,
Thoughts of that total yet filled my head.

So I got out of bed and went to the trash,
To find out what happened to my cash.
I got the receipt & examined each thing,
Man oh man, it just didn’t make me sing!

Hershey’s kisses are my pleasure in life,
But why so more expensive than a wife?
Let me tell you dude, it just really sucks,
It was a two-pound bag for twenty bucks!

When I saw it I nearly went thru the roof,
Now how can I satisfy my sweet tooth?
I don’t shop often so well I bought three,
As you can imagine, I am feeling misery.

At this point I am not certain what to do,
Are my kisses eating days sadly through?
I deserve to have my one sweet pleasure,
Even if I truly spend beyond my measure.

I am an old man, my days are soon done,
So I’ll just keep on having my kisses fun.

CLONES! CLONES!

by Bill Kochman

08-17-2024

Clones, clones, everywhere clones,
Everyone seems to want the credit,
But some pol had to promise it first,
So well the other one needs to edit.

Just as Hollywood makes remakes,
These pols out of ideas seem to be,
So they go & steal from each other,
Man, it is quite the political fantasy.

When I’m elected I’ll keep my word,
Lives will certainly be much better,
Oh yeah, just wash, rinse & repeat,
But what if you’re held to the letter?

And thus those politicians compete,
As they each strive to get your vote,
But as for me, I do not trust a word,
Just throw them all out of the boat!

AWAKENING — a poem and song by Bill Kochman

AWAKENING

by Bill Kochman

08-17-2024

Some people just won’t listen,
To the message I share today,
So deceived by their politics,
But that will not save the day.

They place their faith in a man,
Believing it’s the right solution,
Such thoughts are misguided,
They will not bring resolution.

All the problems in the nation,
Can’t be fixed by passing laws,
We need to look much deeper,
There is really a spiritual cause.

We have turned away from God,
His commandments cast aside,
We chose our own foolish way,
The Bible is no longer our guide.

There’s so much sin & rebellion,
We have defied God to His face,
It should not come as a surprise,
If we’re removed from our place.

Changing leaders will not do it,
If our hearts remain the same,
National repentance is needed,
If we wish to reignite the flame.

But so much darkness abounds,
Many people resist God’s light,
They revel in working their evil,
And they much prefer the night.

Exactly what is it going to take,
To bring people to their knees?
It is my hope you understand,
And are one who really sees.

DOWN IN THE BASEMENT

by Bill Kochman

08-16-2024

Down in the basement,
Just like old Uncle Joe,
People are wondering,
Why she doesn’t show.

There are many issues,
Can we hear her take?
Or is she just so afraid,
She’ll make a mistake?

Good at making salads,
Is not what we all need,
Use your teleprompter,
If you just have to read.

But please get out there,
Show you have got guts,
Forget all your excuses,
Yep, no ifs, ands or buts.

Now if you fail to do this,
You will sink your boat,
Folks losing confidence,
And there goes their vote.

WHEN THE DAM BROKE — a poem and song by Bill Kochman

#Poetry #Poem

WHEN THE DAM BROKE

by Bill Kochman

08-16-2024

It will be talked about for many years,
Precisely when the dam finally broke,
I am referring to that pivotal moment,
When on her sins she began to choke.

But as I sit here and give it some thot,
I think it was in the 50s when it began,
There was a shift in attitudes & music,
Because the Devil surely had his plan.

Like a stubborn weed in one’s garden,
A dark spirit of rebellion slowly grew,
If you were carefully paying attention,
Perhaps you also saw it growing too.

Now when rock n roll music appeared,
It shocked a more conservative crowd,
So unlike the music that was common,
It was certainly aggressive and loud.

Then along came the king Elvis Presley,
And tho they say Elvis hated the name,
A person can sometimes truly wonder,
If it was his pelvis that gave him fame.

Thus it is not very difficult to conclude,
That a liberal spirit crept into the land,
Sadly, some seventy years later today,
That wicked spirit is totally out of hand.

Next came the 60s generation & hippies,
Who wanted drugs and peace and love,
They protested against the government,
No more bloody wars or push and shove.

But it was also during that generation,
That the sexual revolution came to be,
One’s personal inhibitions were passé,
Those young people wanted to be free.

Now as the years continued to progress,
The music grew more rebellious & bold,
While sexual promiscuity & many drugs,
On this country took a strangling hold.

But that old serpent still was not happy,
Indeed, so greedy, he yet desired more,
Abortion, same-sex marriage and trans,
Were so carefully advanced to the fore.

Thus today we have a divided country,
It is split between the red and the blue,
So many rebel against God’s holy laws,
While His children strive to remain true.

Yes, it’s sad to say the dam has broken,
And a flood of evil is sweeping us away,
There really isn’t much that we can do,
Besides get down and desperately pray.

But God’s grace may be growing short,
How much rebellion should He endure?
Sooner or later His judgments will fall,
Because America is rotten to the core.

OFFICE INCIDENT

by Bill Kochman

08-16-2024

The other day I saw something lewd,
Oh yeah, man, it was just really crude.
I was in the lunchroom where I work,
When a young couple began to twerk,

Now I’d never seen such dance before,
Dude, I almost fell right on that floor.
Sexual girations and other nasty stuff,
I finally decided that I’d seen enough.

So I said something, it did not go well,
The guy glared and said “Go to hell!”
Then his girlfriend called me a jerk,
Well, that did it, and I went berserk.

Grabbed the radio, took out the plug,
The folks thought I was on some drug.
Next thing I know the security came,
And everyone agreed I was to blame.

So now here I sit in this dirty jail cell,
Man, quite frankly I’m not feeling well.
You see down the hall within my view,
I see people dancing, a couple or two.

Yes, you guessed it, need I say more?
Look out twerkers, this so means war!

HE OR SHE WE BE — a poem and song by Bill Kochman

#Poetry #Poem

HE OR SHE WE BE

by Bill Kochman

08-15-2024

It is either he, him, his,
Or else she, her, hers,
For any other choice,
The truth it only blurs.

Yet in the world today,
More options abound,
But the Bible tells us,
None are even sound.

But how people rebel,
Oh they be such fools,
Daring to openly defy,
God’s heavenly rules.

Creating new genders,
Clearly a devilish plot,
Yet do what they will,
Other sex they are not.

Change on the outside,
But inside is the same,
Who are they kidding?
It is a deceptive game!

So they indirectly say,
God made a mistake,
They are so misguided,
Their whole life is fake.

Yet even tho we warn,
They all refuse to hear,
So judgment upon us,
Is something I do fear.

KAMALA KAMELEON

by Bill Kochman

08-15-2024

Note: Kameleon = Kuh mell’ lay own

Now once there was a green lizard,
With the name of Kamala Kameleon,
She was the most liberal creature,
With her no one ever picked a bone.

A fierce prosecutor out in California,
She was adept at juggling the laws,
If anyone dared stand against her,
Out would come her terrible claws.

With time she eventually decided,
That in the Senate she should be,
So there she spent her four years,
Until chosen as old Joe Biden’s VP.

Then came a presidential election,
But Joe could not make that grade,
So in a rather undemocratic manner,
Joe and Kamala made a quick trade.

Well, as we know about chameleons,
Their skin color they can all change,
But what has occurred with Kamala,
Is certainly bizarre and truly strange.

Being extremely liberal her whole life,
Her campaign was taking some heat,
Thus like that old smart green lizard,
From liberalism she began to retreat.

But we should ask if it is really true,
Or under her skin is she the same?
Is this chameleon being deceptive,
So she can win this political game?

IN PLAIN VIEW

by Bill Kochman

08-14-2024

There are tampons in the men’s room,
Some guy made the girl’s swim team,
This nation has become very twisted,
It is just one long, horrible dream.

Poor children taking puberty blockers,
And girls having both breasts removed,
Foolish men taking estrogen hormones,
Of such things God has not approved.

There’s just so much gender confusion,
It’s tragically everywhere we now look,
And the reason why it’s all happening,
Is because people reject the Holy Book.

God made everything so clear in there,
Yes, He created them male and female,
But if you still refuse to believe Him,
Look below and you can very easily tell.

Friend, you are either one or the other,
You need to accept what’s in plain view,
Just stop all your transgender nonsense,
Before the Lord begins to deal with you!

PROMISES, PROMISES

by Bill Kochman

08-14-2024

Have you ever stopped to notice,
How those politicians operate?
Pledging to keep their promises,
But not until some future date.

“Vote for me!” they like to shout,
And I will surely get the job done,
But after they have won election,
The promises kept are not a one.

And yet the strangest thing of all,
Is that when promises are made,
They already have a federal job,
And they’re being quite well paid.

So the real question we must ask.
Is why they promise so far ahead,
Shouldn’t they fix problems now,
Before so many are already dead?

Thus the key point I want to make,
Is the folly of trusting in such men,
If they don’t resolve issues today,
Why even trust them to do it then?

FLIPPIN’ POLITICIANS

by Bill Kochman

08-13-2024

Man, just look at those flippin’ politicians,
Have you ever seen anything so absurd?
One day they are promising you one thing,
And next they’re going back on their word.

But that has always been their real story,
No intention to deliver what they even say,
They’ll tell you just what you want to hear,
So you will vote for them on election day.

But sadly, the naive and gullible sheeple,
They just never really seem to get a clue,
They are like those Russian Pavlov dogs,
Which come running if you throw a shoe.

Command and response is their method,
Some crafty politicians use it all the time,
They manipulate with chosen buzz words,
So their voters will quickly turn on a dime.

And that, my friends, is the simple reason,
Why you should not blindly trust in a pol,
If they flip-flop like some fish out of water,
Then know they are just playing their role.

FIRE IN THE BASEMENT

by Bill Kochman

08-12-2024

There’s a fire in the basement,
But no one even seems to care,
I try to warn all of the tenants,
But they give me a blank stare.

What’s wrong with the people?
Have they just lost their minds?
Quickly turning away from me,
They simply lower their blinds.

They do not sense the danger,
Tho smoke is rising in the sky,
Bewitched by something evil,
They’ve listened to Satan’s lie.

Now the basement is America,
Her foundation is truly on fire,
She has turned from the Lord,
And listens to that fiendish liar.

Behold there are so many sins,
That she flaunts in God’s face,
But as the fire consumes her,
She’ll no longer find her place.

Stricken by God and removed,
The whole world will wonder,
How that mighty country fell,
So violently and with thunder.

Wicked shall be turned to hell,
It is a warning from His Word,
God will judge the unrighteous,
In case you have never heard.

Thus don’t ignore the warning,
Get a right heart with the Lord,
Because the fiery wrath of God,
Isn’t something you can afford.

ETERNAL REWARDS

by Bill Kochman

08-12-2024

Even tho you rarely see my posts,
Oh man I am having quite a blast,
I am working so hard for the Lord,
And rewards that will forever last.

I labor not for this present world,
It is merely wood, hay and stubble,
If your foundation is not the Lord,
Someday you will be in big trouble.

People today are so very deceived,
Seeking only power, money & fame,
So blinded by the temporary things,
Wrapped up in that old Devil’s game.

Never considering what comes next,
Once their life on Earth is through,
Doing what appeals to their flesh,
They just really don’t have a clue.

But as for you I hope you are smart,
And have heard God’s higher call,
For if you obey Him in present life,
You will not ever be ashamed at all.

Greeting you when your life is done,
Great rewards will be in His hand,
This is the message I share today,
My prayer is that you understand.

FRUSTRATED!

by Bill Kochman

08-12-2024

I am feeling rather frustrated,
The internet is not my friend,
All networks shadow ban me,
So why should I even pretend?

I have so much I want to say,
So I post and post and post,
But those gurus do not like me,
So my words end up like toast.

I make lots of interesting stuff,
To challenge how people think,
But in social network queues,
All my posts just sink and sink.

My bros rarely ever see them,
They believe I’ve disappeared,
Yet I keep making posts daily,
So man it’s really kind of weird.

I am convinced it is intentional,
They want to silence my voice,
They push only their narrative,
So folks don’t have any choice.

Manipulating how we all think,
They slyly mold our world view,
If you’re not extremely careful,
Their snare will trap even you!
