Dear friends, please understand that if I accept your friend request or connection request, it is because I have checked out your page, and I have seen that you offer some indication on it that you are a Christian, and that you have a serious interest in sharing your faith with others. Sadly, later, upon revisiting certain pages and timelines, I have discovered nothing but worldly topics, and very little — or even nothing — regarding Jesus and God’s Word. There is no Christian witness to be seen there whatsoever. What happened to you?
My friends, in a word, discussing national politics; sharing food recipes; gabbing about celeb gossip; talking about the latest fashions; advertising products for sale; delving into the latest conspiracy theories; offering business opportunities; lauding military service and patriotism; etc., is NOT what I am about, and that is NOT why I accepted you as a friend or a connection in the first place.
In short, I accepted you as a friend because I assumed that you would be a blessing and a spiritual encouragement to my other online Christian friends, should they decide to visit your page. If you are not willing to do that; if you are not willing to let your Christian light shine; if you just want to discuss worldly matters; then I am truly sorry, but I no longer have an interest in keeping you as a friend or a connection. I want dedicated Christians as online friends, who are not afraid to boldly share their Christian faith on their accounts.
I am sorry if you are offended by my previous comments, but this is my position. I am only interested in an extended online Christian family. Folks can find all of that other junk elsewhere if they really want to. But if you are a part of my online network, then please get some guts, and openly share your faith! On all of the social networks,
They say we have free speech,
But what they never tell you,
Is they throttle your outreach.
Oh, you are just so very happy,
To have a new account online,
You’re gonna reach the world,
Man, it will surely be so fine!
Very excitedly you post away,
And wait for the flood to begin,
Likes, reposts and comments,
Many friends you hope to win.
But then hours slowly pass by,
Yes, days turn into a full week,
Your account is totally dead,
Why doesn’t anybody speak?
You seemed to do it all right,
Your graphics are quite cool,
But what you fail to realize is,
You’re just that network’s tool.
No matter which one you’re on,
They operate much the same,
Yes, tho you may not know it,
You are a pawn in their game.
With only two types of pieces,
You’re either a peon or an elite,
Top class gets all the exposure,
While peons grovel at their feet.
Thus, elites get 1000s of views,
While your page remains dark,
Though try as hard as you like,
You just can’t light that spark.

There are just so many guns,
They seem to be everywhere,
Kids are dead in our schools,
Politicians don’t seem to care.
When will all this madness stop?
It happened once then yet again,
Men in government all just talk,
But real action when oh when?
So sold out to all the lobbies,
Dirty money their pockets line,
Just kick them out of office,
If they really have no spine.
Something’s wrong in the nation,
A death culture has taken seed,
No respect for life or morals,
I see it in the news that I read.
Oh God wake up this nation,
Against you they have rebelled,
They break all your holy Laws,
Reject the Word they once upheld.
So now they reap the whirlwind,
But they’re just too blind to see,
America you need to repent,
Get down on your bended knee.

Sometimes we each may wonder,
Have I simply believed in vain?
Has it been worth my suffering,
Ridicule, separation and pain?
Believing seems quite contrary,
To the way a worldling thinks,
But he suffers an ignorance,
At which God no longer winks.
To follow the path we are on,
Requires faith, hope and trust,
For a true Disciple of the Lord,
These three are clearly a must.
