THE TIME IS LATE

Some people say that the physical,
Is a reflection of the spiritual realm,
So when I look hard at you America,
It’s quite obvious who is at the helm.
So much evil is present everywhere,
Yes, it is spread all across this land,
You’d have to be so blind not to see,
Satan has certainly played his hand.
Wickedness is totally out of control,
Shameless sinners spit in God’s face,
But one day His judgments will come,
They will bow their heads in disgrace.
What happened to you dear America,
So long ago you walked in God’s light,
But now like some wayward drunkard,
You just wander aimlessly in the night.
The time is now to repent of your sins,
For God’s patience will not last forever,
No, don’t even think that you’ll be safe,
When He drops His chastisement lever.
You cannot claim that you didn’t know,
His people have warned you for years,
As they pray for the soul of this nation,
Some have even been reduced to tears.
So the time has come, you must decide,
Declare plainly what you intend to do,
Will you bow the knee in true humility,
Or be chastised by the God you knew?
