I believe that Jesus and the First Century Apostles and Disciples were the Firstfruits of the Resurrection. Furthermore, based upon my understanding of the Scriptures, I believe that God has been working throughout the ages since that time to bring in the latter fruits and the latter harvest.
“Firstfruits of the Resurrection” KJV Bible Verse List:
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38, KJV
“(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)” Acts 8:16, KJV
“Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.” Acts 10:47-48, KJV
“When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 19:5, KJV

“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2, KJV
Please note that in 1 Timothy 6:20 above, the word “science” is derived from the Koine Greek word “gnosis”. This word is normally translated as “knowledge” in the New Testament of the King James version of the Bible. This is the only verse where it is actually translated as “science”, and I am not sure why the translator made this choice.
