Crazy as a loon they have described me,
A misguided, hopeless idealist at best,
Whose lost touch with earthly reality,
As I doggedly pursue my Heavenly Quest.
Get your feet on the ground they bellow,
Banish all talk of God from your mind,
Please act normal like the rest of us,
And true happiness you’ll finally find.
But I say it is they who are deluded,
Their castles will crumble one sad day,
My goal is eternal Heavenly Treasures,
And a Kingdom that won’t perish away.
God is in the wind, rain and sunshine too,
In the green forests, and the oceans blue.
In the mountaintops, and the valleys below,
Creation is His, He wants us all to know.
All these great things, by Him came to be,
Proofs of His deep love, for all eternity.
But they mean nothing, if we turn from Him,
And yield to our pride, and the sin within.
All out of balance, done by our own hands,
Satan messed things up, had his dirty plans.
But God can restore us, reborn thru His Son,
Accept Christ today, let His will be done.
Just imagine the magnificent beauty,
When the Lord first created the Earth,
It was indeed such a wonderful sight,
All of God’s sons were filled with mirth.
Yes, it was so virgin, pure and verdant,
No, never touched by any human hand,
How I would have surely and truly loved,
To have lived in that very pleasant land.
Now of course in our own present time,
Some places still take our breath away,
Yet I must wonder if it can ever compare,
To the world born on that very first day.
No doubt Adam and Eve had to marvel,
As they took in such an awesome view,
Honestly, if you had been in their place,
Wouldn’t you have likewise done it too?
Yet today just look at what we are doing,
To this precious gift given from above,
We strip & pollute it with so many things,
And don’t treat it with kindness and love.
Poor stewards we have all certainly been,
We do not respect what our Father gave,
So there needs to be a great awakening,
For it’s past time that we begin to behave.
“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:1-5, KJV
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31-32, KJV
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44, KJV
“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11, KJV
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:4, KJV
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ . . . And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:3, 14 KJV
“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” Ephesians 2:2, KJV
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:10-13, KJV
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8, KJV
While all of the verses in this set of graphics are discussing the ancient, stubborn, rebellious Israelites who repeatedly backslid against the Lord, and fell into deep apostasy, they could just as easily be talking about modern America, or any other modern nation which has heard the Gospel, and yet continues in rebellion against the Lord and His holy Word. Repent, because your day of reckoning is coming!
“But They Refused to Listen” KJV Bible Verse List:
“I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.” Isaiah 66:4, KJV
“. . . because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” 2 Thessalonians 2:10b-11, KJV
“And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good. And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak. So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king. And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD? And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil? And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee? And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself. And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son; And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.” 1 Kings 22:13-27, KJV
Concerning the last group of verses and the account of God’s true Prophet, Micaiah, this very same story is likewise found in 2 Chronicles 18:12-26.
