The poetry you will find on the Bill’s Bible Basics website is NOT typical poetry. It is sharp, laser-focused, and depending on the subject matter, it’s uncomfortable. While much of it is Christian in nature, there are also hundreds of poems which deal with government corruption, biased mainstream media, discriminatory social networks, compromised Christianity and more. So before you decide that poetry is just not your thing, please check us out at the URL below. Who knows. You just might discover that you like poetry after all! Oh, and BTW, it’s free to share!
“Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.” 1 Corinthians 8:1-2, KJV
“If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” 1 Timothy 6:3-5, KJV
“Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Hebrews 5:11-14, KJV

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” Romans 11:33, KJV
Dear FB friends, reconnecting with many of you has proven to be difficult. One reason is because FB appears to limit sending new friend requests to 20-30 requests per day. At that rate, it will take many months for me to reconnect with all of my old Christian friends.
The second reason why it is proving difficult to reconnect with you is because when I visit a lot of your FB timelines, there is no “Add Friend” button. I suspect that this may be because you have your security settings set to only accept new friend requests from “friends of friends”, and not from “everyone”. Thus, I am unable to send you a friend request.
So, if you have enjoyed my many posts here in the past, please consider sending me a friend request at this URL:
Also, if you are friends with some of my old friends, please let them know as well by sharing this post with them, so that they are aware of my current situation, and my interest in reconnecting with them.
Besides old FB friends, I am also looking for new Facebook friends who are not afraid or ashamed to openly and boldly preach the Gospel of Salvation on their timelines on a regular and consistent basis, and not just every once in a while.
When folks visit your timeline, can they immediately tell that you are a Christian? Or do you hide your light under a bushel? Do your friends only find worldly nonsense, but nothing about God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible?
If you belong to the first group, and actively share God’s Word, then please consider sending me a friend request at the URL below:
