TOO GOOD FOR HEAVEN

by Bill Kochman

01-08-2017

He was a man of this world,
Tho Christian pretended to be,
He entertained many bad habits,
Which he didn’t let others see.

Then arriving at Heaven’s Door,
He stood with such a big grin,
But an Angel explained to him,
Just why he could not come in.

“You are too good for Heaven,
According to your very word”,
Then walking away in sadness,
He realized he’d acted absurd.
